Personal Statement
Born in the rural city of Hereford, England, I primarily educated myself in the area of computer based design, whether it be print, web or motion graphics or Cinema 4D Modeling, learning new tools for design is what I enjoy. My love for both technology and design make graphic design the perfect playing field to express my creativity, giving me a chance to create those little visual details that are often forgotten about in everyday life.

Program Knowledge
Illustrator
My use of Illustrator greatly increased when starting university in 2013. Since then my skills have greatly improved and my use of vector images has by far out numbered my use of regular images. Using Illustrator on a regular basis I have learnt how to effectively use the pen tools to manipulate and construct 2D vector images in short periods of time to increase work flow.
After Effects
Self taught I have managed to grasp a good understanding of how After Effects works. Using both basic and advanced methods I am able to create simplistic 2D motion graphics work in a short amount of time. Delving into the tools further I have also learnt basic 3D animation which I do plan to improve on in the future when I have taught myself Cinema 4D in greater detail.
Cinema 4D
Cinema 4D is the program which I have recently started learning. Self taught I have manged to create basic 3D models, along with camera work, animation, lighting and texture creation. Only in the early stages of learning this program I am already finding it very enjoyable, any free time i'm able to acquire will be spent educating myself in the world of Cinema 4D.
Photoshop
Photoshop was the first Adobe product I became familiar with. I have been using various versions of Photoshop for about 6 years, as a result it is probably the Adobe program I am most proficient with. Over the years my use of it has decreased as I have moved on to different types of work such as vector, type and motion based projects.
INDESIGN
Like Illustrator my use of inDesign came into play when starting university so my experience with this program is reasonably strong. Anything typographical I create will be produced for the most part in inDesign. I have learnt how to create intuitive and efficient design on a mass scale using the plethora of tools i've mastered in this program.
PREMIERE PRO
The use of Premiere pro only came into play for me when I started creating after effects videos. Using this in conjunction with After Effects I am able to manage videos in an easier fashion, creating montages, adding sound, fade ins/outs and compressing videos I make into the final end product. My knowledge with this program is limited, but the basics are understood.
